Nekromantix Release New Album 'A Symphony of Wolf Tones & Ghost Notes'

October 21, 2016

Today marks the premiere of A Symphony of Wolf Tones & Ghost Notes, the new album from psychobilly legends Nekromantix. Released via Hellcat Records, A Symphony of Wolf Tones & Ghost Notes is the ninth full-length from the Denmark-born, California-based band.

The follow-up to 2011’s What Happens in Hell, Stays in Hell, A Symphony of Wolf Tones & Ghost Notes broadens the Nekromantix legacy while maintaining the trio’s inherent grittiness: a rollicking psychobilly sound inspired by the greatest works of B-horror fiction. Wielding his signature coffin bass, founder/frontman Kim Nekroman joins guitarist Francisco Mesa and drummer Adam Guerrero in injecting each track with dark romance and unadulterated fun.

In September, Nekromantix released “Glow in the Dark,” the lead single from A Symphony of Wolf Tones & Ghost Notes. The track appears alongside fellow instant classics like “War Bats” and “Resting Witch Face,” easily measuring up against the most time-honored standouts from the Nekromantix catalog.

Founded in Copenhagen in 1989, Nekromantix released their debut album Hellbound the same year. In 2002, Nekromantix made their subcultural breakthrough with their acclaimed fifth album Return of the Loving Dead. Over the years, the band’s fanbase has grown from a feverish underground following to a dedicated army of supporters across the globe.

Known for their outrageous live show, Nekromantix are now gearing up for a fall tour of the U.S.
